Does anyone else find it astounding how bad these girls are at acting? I don't even mean on Full House. Obviously, they are terrible actresses on this show, too, but it's not like they were chosen for FH based on acting skill. (Al though I will say that by the time the Olsens were 8 years old, you'd think they'd at least be as good as Jodie Sweetin was at 5. Alas, no.)
But I'm really referring to all of the post-Full House work. These girls had multiple TV shows and countless made-for-TV movies through their teenage years, and it's the most unconvincing, lifeless acting I've ever seen. They can't even act natural just interacting with each other, and they're twins for fuck's sake! It's literally like watching two walking corpses who've had their souls sucked out.
As I said, I know they didn't get into this business based on acting ability. But I just don't understand how you can literally spend your entire life acting and still be so skullfuckingly bad at it! Shouldn't they improve some based on the sheer amount of practice? Shouldn't they get used to having cameras on them all the time? Or is it just that they really are soulless succubi who are incapable of even feigning the slightest bit of human emotion?
